The Tiges can stick emotion.

Last night it was obvious from the outset they were playing on emotion, 'responding to terrible week...' 'opportunity to play footy after off field turmoil and rumour...' 'players get a chance to take the heat off their coach'

The early over-the-top celebrations, painful, save it for when you hit the front in the last quarter. Emotion will only take you so far, maybe a prelim (95), maybe a lead at half time (last night), I'm sick to bloody death of it. Put your head down and play footy.

The players last night were happy with winning a half, that was enough in their minds, not all of them mind, to massage their consciounces.

Forget emotion, I want football ability and steely resolve.

Petticoat Pettifer is a premature emotioner. Last night's antics were embarrasing, he shut the gate early with another half of footy to be played he thought it was all over.

Lovett Murray's hit on Pettifer at the break was a good reality check and signalled what was to come.

Did you see how Petal Pettifer tried to shape up, it had me in a fit of laughter.

You can understand they wanted some sort of emotional release after a bugger of a week but I reckon there were better ways than wanky goal celebrations.

A really hard tackle or a shirtfront would have been better.

..................or some serious sheperding. :-[

ps. when I say 'here' I mean my neck, just to be clear. I was making a chopping motion with my hand at neck height, just in case someone may have though 'here' was thigh or knee or something low, meaning I could still take some emotion. Ican't. I've had it with emotion.

Frawley came to the Club and said 'I want to take the emotion out of the way Richmond play their footy'. Didn't do us much good...

Still I agree TS. Worry about hitting the next target, not running to the crowd as though the final siren has gone.

Oh for a boring, clinincal win.
