yeah i know, just jibing, all good 8)

I heard some of it as I was driving home from Uni last night. Would've been about 9:15/20pm.

Tom's getter better every day. ;) Just joking.

Tom goes around to schools, footy clubs, etc doing public speaking about the positive cultural factors from playing footy. He mentioned about how he does it without sponsorship or support from the AFL.

He related his views on the declining state of rural footy, and the decline of the tribal mentality.
In country footy, in the old days, the clubs weren't allowed to take anyone residing outside of 10-15 kms/miles from that town. Boys grew up playing junior footy knowing that they were going to play for their town's senior team as they matured into adulthgood. Now it's a matter of which country clubs are wealthy enough to pay for players from Melbourne or the regional centres.

He said also that he watched Dromana play Sorrento last weekend.

That's as far as I can remember.
