Supposedly Warnock was bought into the Melbourne on Thursday and was wow'd by their presentation.

Apparently he's keen to go to the D's, enabling them to focus on Watts with their no 1 pick.

Did I hear that right? Didn't think Clubs could talk to others midseason.

His brother being at MFC would have helped.

Forget him RFC.

I didn't hear anything as specific as him stating a preference or was keen. Fair interpretation though as they said he was wowed. Though Judd was wowed by one of the clubs he considered also and said no thanks.

With you though on the weirdness factor, can't remember anything so blatant being discussed about a player movement mid-season.

I thought it was illegal too.

Schwab declining the job was no suprise though, I did say in another thread Schwab doesn't want another CEO role, though Gold Coast might be the grand daddy of all exceptions with what the AFL will throw at someone now after Cook getting knocked back.

Next person to get offered will get a good package, they wouldn't like being knocked back twice in a row.

Stuart Fox has also knocked them back.

Ouch. Missed that. Thought it was only Melbourne Fox knocked back.

If Golf coast are finding it this hard, how hard will Western Sydney find it? LOL
