Hall will be All Australian in 06!

who was the guy in the 70's (i think he played for hawthorn) who got BOG in a game despite only getting about 5 kicks? i guess if thats possible, ray hall in the all-australian team is possible too...

Wasnt it Robert Klomp of the Blues who got BOG and got 5 or 6 touches after spending most of the game on the bench.

I think Louie the Lip was responsible for that one

It was Vinny Catoggio. Won a colour television set for BOG on a day he spent a total of 28 minutes on the ground.

Lets not forget that Sheeds and Frawley select the team so 28 minutes is more than enough time for Ray to get All Australian.

yes it was Robert Klomp(Carlton). I think it was a pre-season night comp or similar and Louie Richards, Peter Landy & someone gave Klomp the colour TV.

A while later it was pointed out to them that he hardly touched the ball. Lou always used to shoot from the lip without thinking and Peter had no idea.

It was definitely Klomp in a night game for the Escort Cup or whatever the hell it was called then. Louie gave him best on ground because he got about 4 possessions in the last five minutes of a tight game. If he'd bothered to look at the stats he would have seen that that was about it for him for the night.
