Hand the Keys over to Lace out Now

There is no room for McGunae in the forward line. He will have to make it as a back to have a career.

Yeah it was a great mark no doubt about it. But I do have doubts about his long term future. Hansen, who is very average, tore McGuane a new one in the last quarter when the game was in the balance. Luke lacks footy smarts and has a very average skill level. His decision making leaves a lot to be desired.

Hansen average? That is a comment as silly as your ongoing support for Patrick Bowden.

I know. It's almost as ridiculous as your insistence that Gaspar be given a new 3 year contract and be made captain due to his inspirational leadership capabilities.

See, you just don't listen (or read) what I am saying. I said four, to take us to our 'window' in 2011. I have never commented on his fine leadership qualities.

Luke's first year was a write off with a broken arm, he spent his juniors as a forward and 12 months ago in his first game he was the furthest thing from an AFL player that I have seen running around out there.

Thus his development in the past 12 months has been significant. His timing, closing speed and ability to reach in at the last minute and spoil a mark is impressive, so too is his competitive spirit. His disposal can be a bit iffy but he isnt alone here. From where he has come to where he is now, he is the most improved player thus far this season. Plus he likes the tough stuff :clap
