In 1995 we won our first 7 (or was it 8?) games.
We played a KICKING LONG game plan to tall forwards (Richo, Gale, Edwards) with crumbers that STAYED DOWN (Daffy/Naish) and didn't try and take mark of the *smile* year (take note Bling and Pettifer!) and tackled/harassed the opposition in packs.

No sign of a zone defence...no sign of coralling....no sign of handpass happy ring-a-ring-a-rsoy handballs.

Ah...the good old days....

1995 we won 11 out of 13 & were hot favourites with Carlton to play in the GF and played off in the Perlimenary.
1996 we had a great attack and a fantastic percentage that had we made the finals we would have made a big impact going into the finals. We had beaten most teams playing in the finals of memory.

2001 great year we got to the Prelim final again.

it has not been all doom & gloom but it would be great to finally get in a GF again.


1995 the culture was there & the desire just Northeys paranoia got the better of him with Sheedy & not realised that had he got the results there was no problem.

But currently hmmmm not sure when it is going to click into place
