PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

We have been close everyweek but we are still 0-4. In Friday nigths game we have a deplorable efficiency of around 50%. As some people might think, it's not our skill level thats that's the issue, it's a mental pressure thing. The reason this pressure is so high is because of our lack of depth and hardness in the midefield to allow the not so hard midfielders to deliver the ball forward.

I look at everyother team that is going well and they have this:- 2 x Hard-Bodied, in and under midefielders

Richmond has:

Axel Foley - A good ball getter but is only young and doesn't have the big body pressence
Shane Tuck - A half/half midfielder but not your classic in and under
Jonno - Only gets soft balls these days
Tiva - Outside midfielder
Tambling - Quick outside midfielder
Polo - young and needs to get bigger and better
Edwards - First game and slight body

Where is our next hard nut going to come from so that we have 2 of them in the middle?
