Hartigan (merged)

It appears Harts and Petts were involved in a stoush with Roos' Thurley and Urch at a nightclub recently...Harts ended up with a "battered face".

Pets just got a battered sav.

Poor Harts is in the footy wilderness at the moment.
Seems his stint at Coburg has been pretty ordinary the past few weeks.
Instead of gaining confidence it appears he's losing it, if reports are to be believed.

I hope he can turn it around. :-\

Yes ToO he was ordinary (without being terrible) again today against the Dolphins.

Saw that too Anduril. May explain why he was dropped.

Really think the he is the unluckiest man at Punt Rd.

Is being rotated through to learn some lessons but 30 odd touches at Coburg should get him a spot, I wonder what more he needs to do.

Andy Krak must have pictures of Wallace & Miller with goats for all the free rides he is got.

Hang in there Harts, still thin he is in our best 22.

different types of players. there is a thing called team balance. Krak is a skilled player who is capable of making something happen, creating something from nothing. You could argue he doesn't do it enough, but that is the type of player he is. Hartigan isn't and he have other similar players.

Fully agree.

Now just a thought nothing more before jumping down my throat..

If Hartigan is not in favour with TW and not meeting up to directives then maybe Harts could be offered to the Bombers as a trade cos i reckon they would go for him as he has dash, and also his father played for Dons, so maybe we could snaffle a higher 2nd or more likely 3rd round pick for him.

Like i said just and idea if Harts is on the outer with TW.

The question beckons "Where to from here?"

Whilst I'm thrilled for young Howat, the fact that Harts can't make our best 25 should be a big concern for him.

I'm not familiar with the intricacies of the club but I would love to know what TW's thoughts are on this player.

He had a flying start to this season and had one average game against the Crows(which we won) and then gets banished to Coburg and has been there ever since. he must be tearing his hair out seeing the likes of White and now Howat leapfrogging him and earning opportunities even though he's a more senior player.

If he hasn't earned the chance fair enough I suppose but it appears to me he's put someone right off side and his chances of being at the club next year are slipping by the week.

If you cant get in the best players in the VFL then why should he get called up?

Cam Howat by reports has been consistantly good, so he has been elevated.

The ball is in young hart's court if you ask me.

From what Andy Collins said in his column it would seem to indicat that Harts put in an improved effort last weekend.

didnt he get a 2 year deal this year??

I just like the fact that with Andy Collins at the Burgers the players are getting professionally coached and assessed. Harts has good coaches looking at him - if he can't make an impression (at the moment) then I think there should be a little less forlorn sobbing regarding his absence on the forum.

I hope he improves and comes back better - up to him I suppose. His real challenge comes at the end of the year when the club's need for him and his professionalism and improvement are judged. For those who like him I hope he is in front of enough others.
