I doubt Harvey has the 'smarts' to make it as an AFL coach but it's time for him to put up or shut up. Good luck to him if he gets the Freo job. They are a funny lot in the west, very parochial for their own.
As for O'Donnell taking over from Sheedy I would doubt it. Brisbane fast tracked John Blakey past him to be the annointed one post Lethal. I'm not sure O'Donnell is as good as many believe. Geez he's fit though, apparently he came second in a training run with the senior Bomber squad last week!

Have watched Mark Harvey each week sitting next to Tony Shaw on the weekly Fox/Austar footy panel show. They both make Humphrey B Umpire look like a rocket scientist.

Harvs,eh?I dunno...I reckon he would be too reactionary when the heat was on. and it got hot in the kitchen...a bit like what happened with frawls at times......I know he was a legend at Bomberland....but so was Timmy Watson and look how that panned out.I agree with pharace....i know O,donnell is thought of very highly up here(in QLD) and at bomber land.....my money for O,Donnell to be the bomber coach in waiting after sheeds pulls the pin......
It's the best option for Harvey. THe Bombers were never going to give him the senior gig, they obviously know he's not up to it. Freo will probably give him the job and find out that yes he really did spend all that time at Essendon putting out witches hats and holding the bag for other guys to jump onto and holding Sheeds clipboard.
