Has our membership dept fallen asleep?

I know this doesn’t belong here Rosy but I thought I’d start this thread here as it will get more attention.

I’ve often thought our membership dept & membership packages are behind opposition clubs and today I had this confirmed.

I was speaking to a St Kilda friend of mine and he told me as a Saints member (Adult 11), he gets the following benefits:

The Age newspaper home delivered for 52 weeks ( Fri-Mon, 4 days). Value $348

Origin Energy bill rebate, value $150

Ambulance first aid kit, value $19

Total value $517

Plus, 10% off merchandise from the Saint shop (which is pretty much standard for most clubs) and the usual stickers lanyards etc.

How attractive is this for potential members?!! Isnt that tremendous value!!

Sh!t I’m even tempted to join the Sainters. No wonder their membership has gone through the roof lately (helped of course with their good on field performances)

It got me thinking. What do we as a club offer as benefits to potential members?

Why cant we match St Kilda’s membership package?

And if we did wouldn’t this get more Tiger fans signing up as members?
