I am worried for this fella based upon what he said in the HUN today.  No issue with his claim that the next Australian coach for the International Series should be a recent ex-coach (as they will be able ot better focus on the job that a current one), but did he seriously mention Spud as a prospective candidate?

I know we were forced to take him (pretty much), but surely our country can do a heck of a lot better than Frawley - even if it is a mickey mouse event.

And we have been touting this guy to replace Miller (myself included)  :help

Finally lost it three years ago.

And Tony Free is a fan.

He's smarter that you think.

Clearly he's approaching it from the angle that he wants to give Ireland as much chance as we can afford to win the first series back to hopefully spark their interest in the concept again. It's a form of tanking. What better person to take this approach forward than appointing Danny O'Frawley to skipper the ship.

I can't believe this dud series is still on. Watching this game is more boring than watching lacrosse.

American Lacrosse is mad.....Love it!!!

surely sheeds is actually referring to himself when he talks of " a recent ex-coach". but he can't SAY that can he?? so he throws spud's name in the air as a JOKE... but it makes us think of other ex-coaches ie himself. he SAYS he's happy to hand over the reins, but if the choice is spud, it's not like anyone will let it happen will they? :hihi

Gotta say, this is an embarrassment to be called an international event and is the biggest yawn ever produced. Bring on the American lacrosse.

Smart suggestion by Sheeds.

The Irish have been upset by the Aussies roughhouse tactics in the past.

The solution. Appoint the softest coach you could find.
