Maybe if we have only three picks in the National Draft we can trade our third and fourth round picks for a second rounder? Say pick 40 & 56 for a 25-30? Would love more than three draft selections.

DELIST: Chris Hyde, Greg Tivendale, Kayne Pettifer, Graham Polak(suspect his career is over), Tristan Cartledge, Cameron Howat & Jarrod Silvestor
RETAINED ROOKIE: Clayton Collard
TRADE: Pick 40 & Pick 56 to St.Kilda for Pick 28, Adam Pattison to Sydney for Pick 30, Daniel Jackson to Kangaroos for pick 38, Pick 38 & JON to Fremantle for Robert Warnock.
NEW ARRIVAL: Robert Warnock
DRAFT SELECTIONS: 8, 26, 28, 30.


That still leaves our future in a great position. With Simmonds, Warnock, Graham and Putt as the ruck options we can trade Pattison (expensible) and delist Cartledge (not AFL material) with no issue. The improvement in us will come from the likes of a Fitter and Bigger Collins, Cotchin, Connors, Edwards, Meyer, Riewoldt, Raines, Polo, Rance, Morton, Coughlan etc.

That's my early thoughts.

Not bad but that would leave us two short. I also doubt that skinny Warnock is our man, but good judges believe he is up to it so we will see.

Agree with this but unfortunately wasn't Pettifer guaranteed to be on the list next year.
Bit of a dog act on Polak.........Maybe we can rookie him.

Dont mean it to be a dog act, I just have my suspicions he will retire unfortunately!

If he stays, well we have room on our main list, maybe we could elevate Collard and put him on the rookie list.
