Isnt this bloke a waste of space! The man is playing AFL footy, not Div 5 Ameteurs!!!!!!
Can the Kangas sack him without paying out his contract because Jon Hay does not deserve to be rewarded with a 3yr deal and then be fat *smile* until he runs out with 1mil Kangaroo dollars and retires at 30!!!!!!!!!!
Your wasting your career son lift ya game or *smile* off your 8smiling*ing disgrace!!!!
I wouldnt kno how they look him in the face or even let him near the club!
Imagine if the Tiges gave up to top 20's and paid that clown 1 mil!! There is still *smiline*ing whingers crying about Simmonds and 5yrs!!!!!

Sorry had to get that out, saw it tonight and worked me up!

They reported that Freo were looking at picking him up... WHY?! :help

Freeo are after him.
All the clubs will be sniffing soon, then it'll be HAYFEVER

The guy can play football and he wanted to stay with the Hawks. His lack of motivation is North's problem. I feel that a few clubs will be interested in him come draft time.

North won't let him go because of his contract and their financial situation.

If i was North i would tell him "start lifting your game otherwise you will not play another senior game ever and we wont let you play at any other club, so u will just became a fat couldabeen."

hawthorn must be laughing over the deal they got for him.
Feel sorry for north

I reckon he could just about fill out one of old Mick Nolans (the galloping gasometer) jumpers right now. He must have some very serious personal issues goin on by the sounds of it.

Agree,Kangas were crazy going for this guy & gave away 2 1st round picks to get him.

Kangas didn't just shoot themselves in the foot with this deal, they blew off both their legs and the family jewels as well.
Can't see any other club being stupid enough to consider Hay, unless it was a purely match performance based contract and they get him for free at trade time.
Just makes me wonder why clubs in this professional era are still doing exorbitant deals for so so players.
Rawlings to the Doggies and the Donut to the Cats are another two deals that were bloody ordinary.
Waiting with bated breath to see who pays overs for the Pimple or Gardiner this trade period, or perhaps someone will pull a huge blunder straight out of left field in their desperation to leapfrog up the ladder.

Hoping Miller, Jackson and Plough do their homework and tread very carefully this year. Last thing we need is to stuff up the trade/draft and give the ferals a reason to slip the leash.

Hay always looking like he's sampled some herb by inhaling it.

Don't be too harsh on Jonothan Hay, a lot of personal issues going on I am lead to believe, issues that the Hawks were aware of before trading him. The Kangas did not do there background checks very well in this case and are getting exactly what left Hawthorn.

Not sure of the exact detail of the issues but needs to get himself right before he worries about football.

Sometimes there are more important things in life then football.

Yep, was about to say the same Scoop...sounds like the Roos just found out about his personal problems (whatever they are) in the last week.

Hay was a top player at his best, I hope for his sake he can rediscover the drive and form he once had.

Hay has some serious "issues"!!

Don't know what they are and dont care really.

Suffer Kangas (and their idiotic coach Laidley). You deserve all you get out of this deal!! :rofl :rofl

Another team i hate with a passion.

Rawlings to the Doggies

Actually the Dogs didn't do too badly out of this deal.

A fringe player and maybe a later draft pick to Hawthorn, Rawlings to Dogs.

He then proved a failure, so they offed him to North Melbourne who are picking up part of his contract.

?

It was Danny Jacobs to Hawthorn and Kepler Bradley (via pick 6) to Essendon.

The Bulldogs would, in retrospect, much prefer either of those players, especially when they're still picking up part of Rawlings wage and had to downsize a draft pick to offload him to the Kangaroos.
