I am being realistic guys/girls i dont think we can make the finals nor do i think we can win another game.
I think the wheels have fallen off, as they have done so many years before. Nothing is new , just the coach and players but the culture still remains....
Is it better for us to just falter away and miss out on the finals and win maybe one, two games.
Ask us supporters who each year think something big may happen each year. I tell you i have been a supporter all of my 35 years and have seem some success unlike others who are still waiting, but let me tell you the pain is still the same when each year is full of promise, games won when we have been given no chance , yet only to miss out of the prize again- TO PLAY FINALS FOOTBALL.
I am not being critical all i am saying is that being a tigers supporter is both at times exciting, frustrating and mostly heartbreak.
The highs so far have been the development of some of our young players such as Raines and the showing of Polo, Foley, Tambling of sorts, Patto of sorts, the promise of Will, Hughes, Mcguane, Shultz, steady improvement of Deleido, maybe i have missed a few. Also seeing Browny back is a huge plus for next year.The future is bright but we need more help with some key KPP players , big bodied to help.
The lows have been the injuries to Will, Newman, Cogs, Harts , three of them season ending and the fact that yet again we may miss out on the finals(2nd year of Terry's five year plan).
I will also need to question the game plan and style of the club as i have on previous occassion(sorry). It is boring, unattractive and we dont play to our strengths and we play a zig zag backwards style which is so frustrating.
I am not being negative, critical of players just stating what hurts me as a long time supporter.
