My computer has the go slows tonight so I can't really search the net and I'd really appreicate it if anybody could let me know this year's draft pick order as it stands pre-trading etc. Thanks in anticipation. :hearton

The order of the draft is actually on the ladder after the final series !!

So...

10 - Adelaide
11 - Sydney
12 - Hawthorn
13 - West Coast
14 - Collingwood
15 - Kangaroos
16 - ?
17 - ?
18 - Richmond

so on, & so on...
 
No, it's always been like that!

Because, say for instance a team finished 8th on the ladder and then went on to win the flag.
They don't deserve the no.9 pick (forget about priority picks for the time been!!).
Hence them getting the last pick of the first round, pick no. 16.

Pretty confident it's on the ladder after Rd 22.

Think I'd stick with 6y's version Disco. ;)

The order of picks is always released prior to the finals race being decided.
 
sydney had pick 15 last year

so unless it changed the order stands after the finals

Reading AFL.con, it does say that the 'premier' ends up with pick 16, so that would infer it's done after the GF.
