Help needed to update the contract list

there is a fair chance of a face lift at Tigerland next year with retirements and delistings and trades; and the superdraft.

Staff and kellaway could call it a day
Tivvers and chaff will need big seasons to get another contract.
and we have a clutch of guys in the tradable category.

It could get quite big :clap

If the axe doesnt swing at the end of this year in regard to dead wood then the RFC is going nowhere even with the quality youngsters such as Lids , Bling , Meyer and Thursty.

Players on notice or players that are not must keep players. All of these guys are disposable and most of them to be honest would not be missed anyway if they went!!!!!

ACID MUST BE PUT ON THESE GUYS OR THEY ARE ALL CANDIDATES FOR THE CHOP IN MY BOOK!!!!

STAFFORD

HALL

RODAN

TIVENDALE

CHAFFEY

PETTIFER

KRAKOUER

SCHULZ

HYDE

ROACH

GILMORE

MOORE

FOLEY

Theres 13 possibilities for the chop or trade at years end if performances are not up to standard, thats without saying there are plenty on this list that have already been perservered with for much too long.

They've got a full season ahead of them before the axe can swing craigybabes....It might be a novel idea to hope they do well and judge them on their actual performances next year rather than calling for heads before they've even started pre-season training.

of this list, Hall, Rodan, Hyde, Foley and Krakour are safe from being axed, but not traded.

The rest will certainly be putting in the extra yards this year. I'm sure they have been told where they stand.

I know Aunty Rosy but these guys are the reason the club has not gone anywhere in the past 3 years and as such a correlation can be drawn.
The club will need to delist at least 6 players for development at years end in 06 and with Stafford the only certainty then the other delistings and trades will come from this list no doubt and so they should too cos the guys in this list are just footballers not stars and not untouchable nor should they be.
Im not asking for all 13 to go i am not that rampant but i believe that all list changes should come from this list for the superdraft in which we should have 6 picks therefore 6 must go minimum hopefully one or two more.

The only thing that will save Hall the truck and Rodan is the stupidity of the RFC for signing them both to 2 year deals instead of one year deals. As for Hyde , Krakouer and Foley theres nothing that grabs me as to why they would be safe.
Krakouer is lazy , Foley lacks height as well as pace , and Hyde is just not damaging when he gets the ball really he is just a player.

Dont get me wrong i like Foley i just think he may be 10years too late for AFL but i hope he does get a good go and does well, whilst Krakouer is one of the most naturally talented footballers i have seen yet is lazy and it is his flashes of brilliance that brings hope to the tigers that he will find consistency that saves him but the club cant and wont wait forever.

So Craig, who's left?

kellaway Gaspar newman
Bowdo Pattison Johnno
Deledio Tuck tambling
jacskon Mcguane meyer
P. Bowden Richo brown
Simmo Cogs Hartigan
Knobel, Raines Polo, Thursfield
emerg's: Limbach and the FNG's
----------------------------------------------
you'd better re-think Hall and schulz
their replacements would be a bit raw. ;)

We'd have to change the theme song to the tune from Dad's Army because our key position stocks would be down to veterans and kids, other than Paddy Simmo and knobel.

'Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler, if you think we're on the run.'

NOW THERE IS A NUMBER OF SPECIALIST YOUNG KEY DEFENDERS and FOWARDS in the draft this year and had we culled some duds we would have an ability to draft 3 or more talls that will be our future spine.

I dont care if we have 2 ordinary seasons in 06 and 07 as long as we get somewhere in regard to blooding and getting games into the youngsters ala Melbourne with Rivers, Miller and Fergusson and look how they have come on.
Hall give me a break the reason Hall is CHB is cos there is no one else pure and simple and that is a dead set blight on the clubs recruiting and list management policies.

Unlike most tiger fans i couldnt care less about finals in 06 or even 07, i want to see the kids given development opportunities and we will not finish higher than 10th or 11th anyway so why not miss the finals as a result of devloping youngsters so we can make the finals continuously for 4-5-6 years rather than a one off cameo as in the past with sub standard players and miss the opportunity to figure heavily in the 06 SUPERDRAFT.

accurate and concise craig the club should not be talking finals for another 2 yrs but those in charge think all supporters dont have a brain so the finals spiel will be bought out in an effort to lift membership.what they fail to realise is when the club fails to make the finals supporters feel duped and it takes years to win them back.
as for your list theres another 3 or 4 you could add to it. the biggest challenge facing wallace next yr is his resolve to play as many youngsters as possible regardless of on field results. i for one wont be holding my breath because i believe the club and most fans hve not come to terms at how poor our list is.
