Was busy burying deeper and deeper into some historical AFL statistics, when I found the stats below. It seems to be quite relevant at this time of year for Richmond...a few other people have touched upon it too. Can you guess what it is?

So there you have it. On the all-time AFL ladder, Richmond comes in at number 9. Where does everyone reckon we'll finish this season then? ;D
 
yeah but it's out of 19 so we're in the top half. it's only the present day 16-league with its final 8 that's got all the clowns hysterical about richmond finishing 9th.
frankly i couldn't care less. i'd rather 9th than 10th. we've had a better season than seven other clubs.
 
funny thing about richmond; they've delivered an adequate service just twice in 26 attempts

if it was a shop most people wouldn't go back

behaviour theorists like BF skinner would tell us only rats in an experiment would probably keep pressing a button if they only got cheese twice in 26 times

Fitzroy/Brisbane Lion/Brisbane Bears should be one side.

The beaers one is interesting. 3 flags in those ordinary stats.
 
If this tabke means anything, how can the Bears/Brisbane Lions and Fitzroy have three seperate listings yet the Sth Melb/ Sydney has just the one...pppft. You bl00dy southerners will do anything to put us supreme northerners down ;D
 
No disrepect to Broadyswordy (he was just passing on the info - didn't create it) but the table was flawed IMO and may have been manipulated to get the result wanted to some extent by using Brisbane Lions and Brisbane Bears as two separate entities when really it was one all along (it could even be argued that Sydney and South Melbourne should be separated as well if Lions and Bears are seperated)

I'm sure there is a purely technical business/legal reason for Bears/Lions to be recorded seperately, but the team was the same - we know that!

So the table has been updated to reflect a more realistic outcome:
