As for the new jumpers and the sash on the back... i can see the numbers easily... am i the only one? Can anyone recommend an optometerist (sp?) for our fellow PREnders?

i can see them at the end of the ground i'm sitting, but if the ball is up the other end, no hope. and i have 20/20 vision when i'm wearing my contact lenses ;D

BUMP

I thought the Heritage round was going to be against the Dogs, but it is this weekend... vs. the Swans...

If you compare our numbers with other clubs such as Essendons our number are smaller and more importantly much thinner or at least they look that way with the black border...simply make them bigger and in particular wider and they will be a lot easier to see for starters.

That was apparently done a few weeks ago, didn't you notice the "improvement"?

Let me firstly say, that I preferred the black back and yellow numbers.

Having said that, the numbers this year are much easier to read compared to last year.

I have noticed the changes. They are bigger, fatter, rounder and basically a easier font to read for the back of a footy jumper. After struggleing at times to read the numbers early last year, I haven't had really any problems this year.

I think the club has done a good job improving the numbers, and I can't really see how they could improve them more. ( except for the yellow numbers on black )

I have no problem with our current jumper and have no problem reading the numbers either.

And I have no problem with the numbers being white either – which is the traditional colour. The yellow numbers (without the sash on the back) sucked.

Stop changing your avatar Red, I have lost all control of my bodily functions I laughed that hard at Milhouse Sheehan. :rofl :rofl

Does heritage round mean that brown bombers are allowed at the MCG?

Are Winnie Blues mandatory?

Will the Bay City Rollers be pumping from all pubs in Richmond?

Is it OK to wear Sweathog again?

Can acid wash be worn with football jumpers this weekend?

This means there will be no change for Collingwood or Smith Street.

It means all of the above PLUS you get to drink Carlton Draught out of those white, steel cans.

I think the AFL should at least have had the drinks and food prices at 80's prices, although, I didn't get to a game this weekend, can anyone let me know if the food and drink were at 80's prices ?

Also, we are still yet to win one of these stupid heritage round games... and I think that Port Adelaide should be able to wear their prison bar jumpers.... the bloody scum.....

and yes I am cranky today, so, LOOK OUT....................

If we're wearing heritage jumpers I'd love to see them change the yellow to the duller/more orangy yellow with the numbers not surrounded by black and see which are easier to read.
