yes but adelaide have 18 players on theit list taken in either the 1st or 2nd round. to narrow the debate down to top 10 picks is being very unfair and decietful. and for the record rfc have 14 1st or 2nd round picks on their list 7 of which have been taken in the last 2 yrs. i wonder if our supposed improvement over the last couple of yrs has anything to do with this.CarnTheTiges said:Captain, the philosophy of some here seems to be, you pick up a crop of kids with decent draft picks and then about 5 years down the track when they actually start to develop and get 50 - 100 games behind them you offload them so you can get some more high draft picks and start all over again. A club is more than just a team of players on the ground all under the age of 25, and all top-10 draft-picks.
A club also gets respect for how it treats its loyal players and its champions.
Richo to stay until he retires....simple as that.
