:rofl :rofl :rofl

Must be gremlins in the site today. I posted elsewhere that the HTML version of the live scores came up with the 2004 grand final.

Must document it here for the record because obviously that data won't be there forever. This is what it says as the q-by-q scores:

Western Bulldogs 2.5 8.13 23.26 43.43 (301)
Melbourne 5.5 13.14 24.25 36.43 (259)

32 goals in the last quarter !!! Well, the way the game is going speed wise, guess it won't be long.

For an organization that can draw hundreds of millions of dollars in TV rights, its website is an utter disgrace and an embarrassment. I could do a better job in my spare time.

When I woke up this morning (8 hours behind Melbourne time here), which was the site I could first find the scores to the Saturday games? PRE ! I couldn't find them on the AFL's site.

On the front page of the AFL's website where they have the LIVE NOW stuff, wouldn't it be a good idea to have the current day highlightd by default, and not just the first day of the round all the time? Computers are pretty clever you know, unlike the AFL, they do know what day it is ....

Still can't get the Java live stuff to work today.

Must have been one of the all time amazing game. I reckon if they post the crowd figures, probably about 300,000 attended the match ;D

Crowd wasn't too bad today for a WB homegame, and after a Melbourne loss to Carlton (and Melbourne supporters don't go to the Dome at the best of times). 28,000 was all that could be expected.
