Highlight package of Connors and Reiwoldt

In that short package there, (great work Evo) Connors showed that he is natural footballer. And gets his own ball, really solid at the coal face. Slick hands and a ability bit like Dean Polo to keep his arms free in the tackle. Strong in the body at that level but like all youngsters will need to beef up. He looks a throwback of sorts and a real keeper.
Can mark, good by hand and foot, cool under pressure, excellent in traffic - me thinks many recruiters will be red faced in a few years.

Connors looks good. Magnificent hands. Gathers and dishes off in one motion. Very important in clearances to be able to do this. Foley can, so can Polo. We've had too many fumblers and/or grab then assess then dish off type players. Connors seems to know whats happening around him before it happens. Balanced, assured, composed and has vision. Mikee said it - he's got IT. Yeah, has a bit of Dal Santo about him. Moves a bit like Heath Black also but hopefully has a bigger ticker. Anther comparison - a quicker Broderick or Simon Black perhaps? Great prospect.
Riewoldt also looks good. Reads play well, throws himself around. Good pick up I reckon on the limited highlights. Moves well. Reminds me of David Schwartz, David Neitz and Jarred Molloy. Not that big, not that quick. Has that bouncing running like Neitz. I can see where people are concerned re the lack of pace, but don't underestimate the ability to read the flight of the ball. This is what made Carey and Brereton such champions. Jack seems to have this gift.
