Highlights of 2005

Player highlights: Tuck proving Frawley an even bigger goose ::); and Deledio, most exciting prospect at RFC in 20 plus years :)

Match highlights: 1st win against Carlton, also beating Collingwood, Essendon and coming from well back to thrash Port :spin

Match lowlights: 2nd game against Carlton; completely gutted me, oh so typically RFC >:(

Player lowlights: continual abundance of players with shithouse kicking skills and shithouse decision making skills

Favourite games: Port at Telstra. This was a side that has disrespected and belted the Tigers in recent years and to wipe the smug smiles from their faces by coming back from a hefty lead and rub their faces in it was wonderful. Richo's towering mark and goal just before half time are the sort of moments you go to the football hoping to see.
The Essendon game, it wasn't a great game by any stretch, but it's always nice to beat the Dons and it was the last game before my father passed away and to know that his last memories of the club he had supported for the last 48 years were happy ones was comforting for me.Players: Browny, I knew he was good, but I didn't know he was that good.
Deledio, at last we got the number 1 draft pick right and got ourselves a bona fide superstar.
Tucky, a revelation and nice to prove to the world that Spud really was an imbecile as a coach.

I know how you feel mate as the same thing happened to me on the day of the 1 point win over Hawthorn last year. :'(

Positives:
Flogging Carlscum

Fooling the magpies into thinking they would win... enter one Nathan G Brown

Beating Brisbane, was at my aunty's there was me, TM, my younger cousin and my aunty sitting on the edge of our seats cheering the boys on. Surprised the neighbours didn't call the police on us for disturbing the peace after the siren went :cutelaugh

Winning against Essendon. Went to the game by myself sat there in the freezing cold. But was all worth it when I turned up at my best mates place in my richmond gear when she and all of her family barracks for essendon :hihi

Lids what a first year, played so much better than I expected. The wooden spoon was worth it just to have him playing for us.

Tucky, to think it was a choice between him and Flemming. Great call TW. Top season Tucky. From almost being delisted to possible b&f winner, outstanding.

Seeing Cogs and Gas get some form back after injury.

Richoooooo gotta love the big fella.

Negatives:
The floggings we copped

Browny's injury :'(

The second half of the season
