Hilton, Delisted or not?

According to THE Boss it is a done deal, Hilton delisted :-\. I would have given him another year but im sure TW knows whats he doing.

Lets hope common sense has prevailed.

I'd keep him for another year - just. I gawd, I really dunno. He might add that bit of depth at a time when we aren't going to get anything for him anyway. Keeps a spot warm for a young bloke as soon as they are up to it. Then it's "Carna Burgers" Hilts.

Delist - Kept Jacko out of the side against Geelong for no apparent reason, and got towelled by Johnson.

Rory has been a servant to the RFC, however the modern game has passed him by and he now lacks the leg speed required for an AFL player of his size.

Would be an asset at Coburg, however there may be bigger $'s for him in the SANFL.

Would like to see Rory be successful when playing in SA and finish off his career with a premiership there.

Regardless with players like Tivva and Hilton I would be looking for deals for draft picks.

Cant see a trade better than late 3rd round / 4th round for Rory. Rory, unfortunately, just does not have that much collateral to attract anything higher.

No real father/son prospect, therefore delist.

Rory maybe keen to place himself into the PSD which would then determine the realisable AFL market value for him.

Hey Claw and anyone else celebrating over this crap.
All ill say is Rory has played more games at Richmond than any of you and also you can see by the way he goes about it that he gives 110% every time and puts his body on the line. Thats more than you can for other blokes on our list!! Give the bloke some slack as he has trie his guts out for this club!
I hope you get picked up somewhere Rory we all know other clubs could use your hardness! :clap

I'm with you Richo 12 and the majority that voted on this thread.  I liked Rory because he put his body on the line and was not soft.   His disposal was also very good.  I think with a pre season under his belt and he will find a home elsewhere and be a good player, or maybe a chance to be redrafted in the PSD.


If TW and GM have delisted Rory there is no way Tivendale will be there next year.  He is incredibly loose as a defender and when the pressure is on kicks it to the opposition.  His best is brilliant and his worst is woeful.

Got beaten by Johnson and still had more of the ball than Jacko has ever had in his career.
