Home ground advantage...what a joke!

After a drubbing like that...at what was supposed to be our home ground...Geelong were allowed to play their club song.

I am of the opinion, if it is our home ground.... then give 'em nothing.

When Richo kicked his 700th goal there was no announcement in my area at a home game.

Last night at 3 quarter time the announcer was very excited to let us know that Geelong has broken the record for the highest ever 3 qtr time score.

It is our home game - what is wrong with our administration

When was the last time they only played one theme song on the day? Winning team will always be played. It was a great day last year as a Richmond supporter at Geelong.

Its' more of a home ground dis-advantage when we play at the dome!! why was this game played at the dome when Melbourne played an interstate side (which was the smallest crowd for the year) at the MCG on the same day. We don't play well at the dome but i still don't know why!! It has grass on the ground and goal posts at either end, just like the MCG but we seem to stuggle there just like Vs Sydney and the Bulldogs laste year!!

last time i remember was when Richmond beat Carlton at Optus oval to knock Carlton out of the finals. It was the year that Gieschen coached a few games at year end

You've got to take the good with the bad...if we won away I wouldn't expect them to play our song...but that wouldn't stop us all from singing it.

Yep, just adds to my hatred of the Dome. It is often a humid venue and so many times the boys have turned up there and been flat. Too often to be a nothing issue - find a solution!

I just dont understand why we actually play home games at the Telstra Dump full stop.

Our record is shocking at the telstra dump.

Once carlton were stupid enough to agree to play their home games there, one would have thought that the ground got the full quota of games that must be played their.

Richmond definately play better are the MCG and all home games MUST be played there. Hopefully the board will refuse to renew any future agreements to play games at the dump.
