hot off 3aw

I think the story should go like this. NOt saying this is what happened, but -

Taz and Ben had been out somewhere else and turned up pretty cut – party was for a girl Ben went to school with.. Taz had his shirt off, tucked into his pants most of the night. Got stuck into the beverages on offer.

As they were leaving there were no cabs anywhere, so Taz just jumps into this car with three guys in there, yelling at them to drive him to a taxi. They tell him to f off and a punch on ensues until he gets out of the car.

They then race past screaming F off you looser, Taz and Ben chase the car down and a fight ensues… walking out of the club a guy tries to intervene and this poor bloke get absolutely king hit by taz from behind..

I am sure this is not the real story but it could be..

No, no no, I ran into Greg Swann and he told me the REAL story: Christopher and Benjamin had arisen early for a warm-down run along the beach, followed by a recovery swim at Port Melbourne. They were jogging past the carpark, where they witnessed a fight between some Essendon and St Kilda supporters. They went over to see if they could help, and while kneeling beside an unconscious victim of the brawl, they prayed for his safety and arranged for him to be escorted to hospital.

The club fined them for failing to complete a recovery session.

Please let's get the facts right. :P

Funny you should mention the warm down D3...

I walked up Swan St to the G on Sat for the 'aints game and nearly got run over by a guy making an illegal turn in a black 4WD. Traffic on Swan St was banked right up and he was clearly frustrated. I jumped out of the way and pointed at the "little green man" that I was crossing with and the driver then swerved to aim his car right at me...then swerved away. I am 95% certain it was tarrant. The timing was right...it would have been after they finished their recovery from their fri night game, and he would have left the lexus centre (HA HA coll train AND play in RICHMOND...I love it! *smile*' wannabes!) and driven straight up Swan St. I did get the letters of the licence plate so actually could check if it is his car...

So I feel this thing is karma. The incident stayed with me for about 20 min (bloody footballers, where do they get off? Where's a copper when you need one...blah blah blah") then got to the footy and forgot about it. Walking home after we had been flogged, passed the spot where I had been almost hit, and just thought there is no justice. He would have known from what I was wearing that I was Richmond, we lose by 100, he'd be laughing about the *smile* day I had if he cared to remember, which of course he wouldn't.

And then, THIS blows up in his face... Karma, tarrant...you little plastic-muscles try hard.

Fellas please, you are both wrong. EDDIE told me that it couldn't have been them because they were both tucked up in bed by that time, and the only drink they had that night was a glass of warm cocoa to help them get to sleep.
