PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

IMHO there is only one solution.

We need someone who has tasted ultimate success on a number of occasions.

Someone who has rebuilt lists over a number of years.

Someone who knows how to get the best out of a list.

Someone who commands respect.

Someone who is a Richmond and an AFL legend.

There is only one someone...............Kevin Sheedy.

And before all the Sheedy's too old and past it knockers laugh me off, understand this.

There is a deep seated and ingrained culture problem at Punt Road that no inexperienced coach like a McKenna or Hardwick can solve.

We need a commanding figure like a Sheedy/Malthouse/Matthews to change things at Richmond.

The only one available is Sheedy.

The club could easily recoup what it pays Wallace out by having Sheedy at the helm for a 2-3 year stint as he grooms a younger coach to fill his shoes.

Make no mistake we are going absolutlely nowhere as a club and will continue to do so until some very tough decisions are made by the club.

Gary March and the board have some very important decisions to make.

They can start with this one.
