I had a bit of a squizz at thepowerfromport.com this arvo (mainly to check out what the admins there, who are my mates, had to say about the game) and admit I was a tad amused to seea thread "Is Richmond possibly the most boring team ever?"
I didn't really enjoy our game against the Crows as a spectacle but the 4 points is what it's about and I was rapt. I don't think we played anywhere near that style of play last night though. I thought we were hard at the ball and the man and played good attacking footy. In fact Port had the play to put anyone to sleep. Hardly even looked interested in making a contest some of the time.
I rarely venture to other forums and am interested to hear from those who do in regard to opinions on our team and style of play this year.
Surely the tpfp comments are sour grapes rather than an accurate reflection on our team.
What do those who were actually lucky enough to watch the game live think of our style of play against the paps?
