So we assume Wallet is a genius because this light globe went off in his head after the Collingwood game debacle?
(As an aside do we applaud Wallet for this? Was it his decision solely? Or was it a Match Committee job?)

Suddenly the "Richo Role" as outlined in The Age today is all the buzz.
He is equal 3rd favourite for the Brownlow! :hihi

It got me thinking ... Would we be a better side in 2008 if this move occurred 4 years ago? ???

We could assume the likes of Cleve and Sarge would be more advanced in their roles than they are now.
Also Lids White and Bling seeing Richo's workrate in the middle would have inspired them to run harder, longer.
Also allow Patto more time up forward to develop when not rucking. (admittedly Snakey being fit and firing does help this as well)

Maybe Pettifer and Tivva would be already gone.
Maybe Joel Bowden could have gone "Back" forward at the same time as he is NOT a close checking backman.

Maybe Batman's (Richo) crime fighting partner Robin (Brown) would have a different role playing as a small Full Forward?

Futher provokes: How many more games would we have won under this style?

I suppose we'll never know !!! ???

Playing devils advocate I suppose you could argue it's been unsuccessful...used 4 times for 1 win and a draw.

It's funny how you can be more competitive, you can tackle, chase, harrass 1000 times better than other years yet you are still judged by the numbers in the W and L columns (and in our case the D column !)

Please discuss oh yellow and black brethren !!! :hihi
