How happy are you because we beat the Kangaroos?

It was a game that to show we have come on we had to win, although a toss up for a lot of other tipsters, if we want to show the football world that this club is going places then a good showing was imperative.

Although not a classic win, you could really feel and see that this club of ours is on the move forward. Still a long season ahead but let us hope that we have got that bloody winning mentality back into the players heads. Good effort really after coming back from Subi last week as well.

A win in June, against the Roos, when we are favourites. There's three hoodoos GAWN right there :hihi Gotta be happy.

Well said RROFO...a mighty good hattrick and I'm rapt to see it happen.

And we won the week after a trip to the West!

:rofl

Number four! Good call Anduril...that now makes two victories returning from the West eh? :thumbsup

Can we include Simmonds putting Archer on his bum as number five? Haven't seen a Tiger player do that as I recall...though someone will probably correct me on that. ;)

Terrific to see Simmonds do that to Archer and give him a taste of his own medicine!! Did you see him whinge to the umpire afterwards!! :nopity :nopity :nopity

Suck on it Archer!!

Today's cold weather just proved that the Kangaroos should move to the Gold Coast......

PURE GOLD !!! :clap :hihi

i HATE the roos...more than any other side.....this shin boner crap...every year they have made us pay and killed our season...it was beautiful to see us win comfortably today and i reckon it may just be the beginning of a few tiger slappings over the next few years.

Loved NGB's game..... you could just feel his confidence growing and growing....look out the remainder of the season if his confidence levels are sky high....

Great to finally get one back on them for a change, but on the serious side i have grave fears for the well being of this club, no members, a lack of quality youngsters, a coach at his wits end as well as a dead set lack of public interest in them.

There gonna need more than the shinboner spirit to survive as the Nth Melb Kangas outta Arden ST into the future one would think. Will be interesting to see what the Commission will do with them.

Yeah, it's a mixed feeling Craig, very good to see us do them in, but not that good to see them so down and out. In their heyday I hated them, but at the same time absolutely admired the hardness and spirit of their playing group.

I expect they will end up on the Gold Coast and after a few years of rebuilding, we'll probably have to face a reincarnated Roo side that will be somewhere near as formidable as the reborn Fitzroy became.

Seriously, who cares?? :nopity :nopity

Have no sympathy for any other club than the Mighty Tiges.

They've given us some almighty thumpings in the last 15-20 yrs.

So honestly I dont give a stuff.

Who's up for a bit of Kanga culling!!

I know where you're coming from DG but lets not forget quite a few clubs were there to support us when we had our problems. The Bulldogs were one bunch who I will always remember rallying with us in numbers at the G for the Save Our Skins day.

If it comes down to an us or them then of course I would hope we would prevail but I will have no pleasure from seeing the Roos packed off somewhere else.

I gotta say though I think it is inevitable. At least they will be likely to go the way of the Swans and not Fitzroy.

I cant believe what i am hearing!!

Stuff the kangaroos, they have humiliated us many times over the years, we havent beaten them for 5 years or so.

Yesterday, the mighty Tigers took another step forward in gaining respect.

I am with you DG and enjoyed the roo cull yesterday. ;D

Always great to win,and its another leap forward for the club and the playing group,so of course I'm happy...........but I do admire North and hope they can survive in Melbourne (despite the hypocryte Aylett) and won't celebrate this win the same way as when we beat Essendon,Carlton or esp if we can stuff the scum in 2 weeks time >:D

Agreed Struggs.
Not sure what would be better.
*To win by 10 goals plus
or
*Kick the winning goal after the siren to win by a point.
I mean nothing better than watching a long slow death but on the other hand wiping the smiles off their brogan faces would be priceless
:hihi :hihi :hihi

See the dilemma but 10 goals has to win.

Helps the anemic % and we get to wave goodbye to the droves of peanuts leaving early.
Can also sit back and enjoy a game without heartfailure each week.

Extremely chuffed as apart from what was a pretty ordinary first quarter I felt that we controlled the game and comprehensively outplayed the opposition. An even performance form all players ,well coached a very solid win
