PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

How I wish the Tigers had the foot skills displayed by the Crows last night. If they missed a target then that was a rarity. How often during '07 did we all lament the poor passing skills of our team. Lost count of the clangers going to opposition players last year. Just hope we are better this year, with the ability to hit targets just like the Crows last night. They were awesome.

And whilst I'm about this "skill" thingo, how about their foot speed?? They literally ran the Mudpies off their feet. Yes, I know they were tired and all that...excuses, excuses, but the Crows pecked the Maggies to death with the accurate passing mentioned above and run, run, run.

Hope our coaches were watching, but I have grave fears that a leopard can't change it's spots, and maybe it is too late for some of our older players to gain the skills required to be as effective as Adelaide last night. Hope I'm wrong, but history says otherwise. Negative, today I am, but I have to admit to having pre games nerves.
