How Important is this?

No, not really. I don't think anyone here enjoys a Tiger loss when draft picks aren't on the line. ;D

I've certianly never barricked for draft picks :theyareontome

We can start by kicking the ball in the right direction.
oh, the horror, the.....horrror

on the bright side, a great chance to see a LOT of high draft picks go toe't'toe, in hopefully a balls'n'all effort to establish supremecy over the next decade.
Also, agreat oppurtunity to test if they correctly relocated piggys' head, by taking it off and seeing if the tankers medicos can put it back on.

What I think will be interesting is how many brightsiders will come out and give the team a baking if we get done. :)

Bloody brightsiders - I'm sick of em.

They all suffer from premature jubilation.

Better than what your suffering from (judging by your avatar) :hihi

Thats either one bad peanut allergy, or you are nearly ready to take up your spot in the Chinese Womens Swim Team.

If the Saints touch us up in Round 1 of the NAB Cup this place will go into meltdown!!

Doubt it, Saints much better on paper, and we still have a ways to go.

Plus its NAB Cup. Backyard cricket at my Nannas place is worth more than the NAB Cup.

Anyone seriously expecting a win against the Cats (unless 80% of their team is injured or in Port Adelaide/Melbourne Victory hangover mode) has been drinking way too much before noon.

Never say never. Anything is possible with this great game. We could come out and beat them by 10goals or so lol ;D

We really need to get off to a flier, we were slow out of the blocks last year and it killed the confidence around the place! On top of all this I hate Carlton and I hope we smash them like a Marat Safin tennis raquet.

PS. I hope Daniel Jackson wears Judd like a lycra jumpsuit >:D

(murmuring to self about Jackson) please play on Judd, please play on Judd, please play on Judd! :bash

I find that to not really be the case (notable exceptions aside). In general those with less expectation seem to take the losses a bit better.
There are also those that dream and stop at nothing to acomplish those dreams....having high expectations is a virtue.......and losing should never be easy to take...it should hurt.....and hurt bad, that way you never learn to take it "a bit better". :thumbdown

Interesting philosophy.

I'd agree if you actually took part in the games. What dream can you accomplish as a supporter. That of watching someone else do what you want them to do? And how are your high expectations going to help them do that?

Your avatar is disturbing. That guy looks like he's made up of balloons.
