We didn't lose to Carlton, Essendon or Collingwood at any stage for the whole year?

Hopefully we can knock off the Bombers and make it come true..

We still have to play the bummers and the blues again this year and these two games are worries for me (refer to hawthorn match)

you could say we should expect us to beat carlton, essendon and brisbane (brown probably out for year). that would leave us with 10 wins and we'd need to find 2 more somewhere. but we shouldn't think like that. this is richmond we are talking about :P

As far as I can tell, the only time this has happened was in 1931 when we beat them twice each in home and away games. Richmond, Carlton and Collingwood all made the four but somehow we didn't play a final against either.

We still have Carlton again as well, who have beaten us 4 out of the last 6 despite being in the midst of their darkest era.

how long since have we thumped a team and really buried them into the ground in the last quarter? even the flogging we gave carlton last year we only outscored then by a goal or 2 on the 2nd half.

1931 - OUCH! :o

Don't think I'll ask any more questions, but sounds like another hoodoo for Terry to clean up.

Tks for the research - hope it wasn't the main thing keeping you up till midnight ;)

That's twice in two years.

2 2005 18 Richmond 16.10 (106) vs Carlton 22.9 (141) TD Lost -35 <---
3 2005 7 Richmond 23.13 (151) vs Carlton 10.6 (66) MCG WON 85

Although we have beaten all of them the last two years, which makes for a great time at the office

2003 v Western Bulldogs, led by 29 and won by 60.

We've been in front at 3/4 time 9 times this year but only won 2 last quarters. Had we won the last 1/4 yesterday, it would have been the first time we'd won all 4 quarters since R1 2004 (against C'wood). This is the longest drought of any club.

Worth noting that in the last 6 seasons (including this one) Richmond has only won all 4 quarters 4 times.

Finally got there - won every quarter.

The 1931 feat (well part of it) can be replicated this Saturday night.

I bet if we let TW know this - maybe at the locker room tommorrow night - he will weave it into a press conference somewhere. He loves this stuff.
