How Long Will Bernie Stay ?.

The Bernie Stay thread is a poor man's version of Bernie Go.

The trolling of trolls and bitter banter between BS and The World XI just doesn't have the same piquancy.
We need a new topic of division and derision. Any ideas?

Not Bertie !! It is Bernie. It is easy to get them mixed up. Bernie was a film made in 2011 so did any one watch it ?.
Now I got it! Bertie is the fifth Beetle. Problem solved.

Exactly. So when are you and all the other insufferable fanbois gonna apologise to Brando, George, Houli etc?

You, Tobes and others got the list waaaaay wrong.

Love how all the clueless types see it as some miraculous turnaround with Hardwick.

The players have been ready since 2013. But then the club would never want to sell us that narrative, would they?

It's a shame the "When will be Bernie go" thread is locked, there's some unreal hallucinations on there that would be good to respond to.

Chaplin, Conca, Aaron Edwards, Maric, Morris, Petterd and Vickery all played in the 2013 elimination final. Which of our premiership players would they replace?

That's a fair question and I would suggest none of those would get a game bar perhaps Chappy although the Berry is far better, so cross him out..... Perhaps Conca if fit and in early 2017 form, but essentially none..

I didn't mention Tuck and Jackson either, would they get a game ahead of Prestia and Caddy?

There has probably been doubt about all our previous coaches. We'll never know if they would have been successful of not given the right support and resources and time.

Amazing how some people are just simply born winners, Dimma is a great example of that, then you get guys like Jade Rawlings who it seems what ever club he gets involved with they just struggle. Right place right time in someways.

Getting into Yellow and Black now.

Peter Burge reckons we didn't quite have the right mix in 2013-15, but Cotch is adamant we we could've beaten anyone, particularly in 2015.

Deledio laments being shackled.

Hardwick himself admits he should've released the chains earlier.

There's a subtext here and whilst it's all water under the bridge, especially after a flag, I am disappointed not to have had a crack at least one other flag in Hardwick's tenure thus far.

Plenty of people have voiced opinions that were proven wrong in the fullness of time Carts. Given you have done so more than perhaps anyone makes it all the more astounding that you constantly sit on your high horse taking pot shots at others.

Have you apologised to the players yet Carts? You wanted half of em gone under the great rebuild of 2017 didn't you?

Heck, less than 12 months ago you publicly supported Carlton in round one hoping to hasten the demise of the coach and called for a rebuild a few weeks later, advocating the trading of Jack and Dusty. In a premiership year no less!

So which scarf you wearing to round 1 this year- Tigers or Blues?

Clueless indeed!
