This year Wallace has used about 12 different game plans. Did he run out of options in his old bag of tricks and delve into the archives? Did he think " I just sorta thought we needed something different but proven"?
The one against the Blueboys was vintage Richmond....... one created by supercoach Hafey and perfected in the 1980 grandfinal by TJ. Simple stuff really....... tackle hard, get the ball, no finessin', kick it long and contest.

One question........ why did it take until round 20 to use this game plan?
