2017 SF, PF, GF
2018 SF (My missus used my ticket and went with my sister to the PF)
2019 PF GF
2020 (crickets) Watched it all on TV

I have only seen us win 2 flags live, lose one live (82 GF) and 4 on tv (73, 74, 80, 20)
wasnt the 77 the first live GF?

Every final since 1980 until this year.
None get even close to the entire 2017 finals series. Didn’t really believe we’d win any of them.
Flogging the Scum in 1980 actually does come close !!

Unfortunately I couldn't get tickets to any of the GF's.

2017 - Went to QF and PF - both were amazing
2018 - Same QF and PF - very different experience to the year before, Hawks game walk in the park then the debacle of the PF
2019 - Went to PF against the Cats again.
2020 - Everything was on the couch.

Hopefully will be able to get GF tickets for a future one.

Attended 2017 and 19, had the chance to go last year but passed it over and feel some regret about it now.

Having said that, my favourite game in this run is without doubt the 2017 preliminary final.
Not the 2017 GF, BR?

I flew to Aust for the 2017 Prelim. It was freaking unbelievable. Easily the best time I've ever had a football match.

Went to the 2019 gf.
Knew we would win it so just soaked it up.
Fantastic day out with my brother as we atoned for a childhood bereft of Tiger success.
A day which will be etched into my memory forever.
Will never forget the roar for Marlions goal and the goal by our skipper in the last.
The stands shook.

No, I found the prelim to be a better experience.

The Grand Final was a great feeling at the end but it was a bit like the day your kids are born. Great finish, but for the most part it is the hardest day of your life. I was so emotionally spent I felt relief at the end, more than elation. I enjoyed the 2019 Grand Final more because we had the chance to soak it in long before the game was over.

The prelim though was like a dream. The atmosphere was so electric it passed through your body and the feeling of winning and the possibility of winning Grand Final gave me a euphoria I've never felt before or since.

Having not grown up in Australia, I hadn't been through all those hard years that you guys had to endure.

It was the 2017 PF that brought it home how much this all meant to people. It was maybe 4-5 mins before the end and we had opened up what was an unassilable lead, and in front of me were a father and son (the son was probably late 20's) embracing and the son was sobbing into his dads shoulder. Thats when it became clear to me how this meant to Tigers fans who had all those barren years. As you say euphoria, but it was filled with so much emotion.

It was one of the reasons why I was comfortable not getting GF tickets in 2017 or 2019 as I felt there were more "deserving" supporters than me being there, though thats not to say that I wouldn't want to be at a future one.

Also went with brother to 2018 prelim.
We could only laugh as the texan took us apart.
There was a strange feeling over the gound before that game.
Lots of rumour and innuendo regarding sickness etc.

Went to the first 2, even though I’m in SA could not justify going to Qld this year when I had my junior cricket team I’m coaching. Was fortunate to have the Prelim here in SA though.

Never forget experiences and I hope I get another. Thank the lord for being a member of the Maurice Rioli Club for so many years even when it seemed unlikely

So hard to get tickets to a Grand Final these days, thankful I got to 1980 all those years ago. Such a great experience being there, especially thrashing Collingwood.

Of the more recent finals I feel lucky to have been at Punt Rd for the 2017 and 2019 Grand Finals, great day not quite at the footy. Of the more recent finals I really enjoyed the 2019 PF, getting over Geelong after being outplayed in the first half, then that bloody free and 50 to The Diver. To see us mow down their hard fought lead in 20 minutes and then get over Geelong in a very good game was priceless.

Watching the 1982 GF on TV and being at the 2018 PF were the worst, still think losing a GF is worse.

i went to 1980 Grand Final and the 2019

1980 i was in standing room on the southern stand wing
2019 i sat next to the GWS cheer squad in the ponsford stand bottom deck
2019 GWS cheer squad were pretty loud and obnoxious, more than i expected ,but only with their first goal then it was the greatest game
bittersweet was the 2020 Grand Final, so happy we won it , not happy i would have been there if it was in Melbourne
