PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Reading the Hun today, it was almost like the 8 is settled, i disagree a lot of footy still to be played, sure top 3 look set in stone but i still think 4th to 8th is up for grabs....The crows have a testing time from rounds 11-15, they play Rich, Hawks, Bris, Geel and Coll...

Most years, 12 wins and good % will get u in the 8....Im thinking this year it could well be 11 wins with good %, a lot of teams striving for that 6th to 8th place, North in my view have been lucky to win the last 2 rounds (won by a few pts over WC) and 3 pts yesterday, how did Johno miss that goal for the doggies.

Im really not sure whether we'll make the 8 still a little early to tell but come RD 12 the picture will slowly become clearer. That saints game we should've won (4 pts) and the doggies draw another (2 pts) would have us now on 5 wins (20 pts) equal 8th, so we need to snatch some games from teams entrenched in the 8 to have a realistical chance of making the 8.

We have to win 2 of our next 3...Swans (SCG), Crows (MCG) and Dees at TD, yes TD both long serving MCG co-tenants and we play them at TD, our home game.

In any case the signs are looking good, depth coming through from the reserves who are a game away from 3rd spot, we're the number 1 team in the league for contested possessions and our tackling has improved 10 fold...

Do PREnders truly believe we'll make the 8? or will we just fall short....
