How much our side has changed from 2003

The players may have changed greatly...BUT the defeatist attitude still exisits and will remain until the losers (read duds) are exorcised from the side and the sooner the better as their influence will quickly infect the kids and then we will be really screwed

Go the kids...Elect Lids!

That is scary... You'd hope the list has improved in the last 3 years...

A large part of that side did make the finals, so it wasn't too shabby. It was the recruiting after we made the finals which really sucked and extended out the "bottoming out" process.

heres a little exercise for people find out how many miller selections since 02 have been delisted. also use a bit of foresight and guestimate how many more may not make the grade.

also take a look at how many players we had who were 22 or under you guys know the development age group. when you have done that how many of this age group were quality and likely to stay on the list. you can then ask yourselves what the hell were we doing trading away early picks for recycled players.

the list was actually poor in 01 yet alone 03. but even if you take it from 03 you would expect the list to be looking pretty good after 5 yrs.

Problem is that the old side looks better than the current one!

New side has a far bigger up side. The only way was down for the 2003 side.

Exactly right. The question isn't who would win today but wh ichteam looks better going forward at their respective times. Al I sawa in 2003 was a number of 'older' players - many underachieving past their prime. Today I see alot of youngsters who have shown some great potential.
