How serious are the AFL

I'd bet money that something drastic will need to happen before the AFL take a firm stance on the issue.

Sadly I think you are spot on

Thats cool. I still think people have significantly overplayed what Aka said though. He never said "I know xxxxx is on drugs". He said he thought EPO was an issue, and gave an example of a player (not named) who had improved rapidly enough in a short time to raise doubts. There is a big difference between saying "I reckon" and saying "I'm suspicious", and I think when Channel 7 dropped the name the former well and truly took hold.

No worries. If there's any justice in the world, then the person who told Channel 7 will cop most of the fallout.

Agreed, I cannot believe how everyone has dropped this issue of "who leaked the name". It is either Aka, the AFL, or ASDA, and which ever one did it needs to be strung up.

Heres an interesting one. What happens if a Grand Final winning team is tested and seveal players return positive test. What does the AFL do then. Keep it all quiet as per there current policy or do they go public and announce the findings. What do they do with the match result. As it stands now I don't think there is any provision to strip the team of its cup, is that correct.

The way things are going this is bound to happen sooner or later.
