Interestingly, RFC players are the 4th most selected. Even more surprising was the nett value of the the RFC list (as per Supercoach - which is based on much of the Champions Data)

Now if this was Dreamteam, I'd say big deal - we might get the pill alot by simply overusing it. And this may still be the case for Supercoach, but it does draw a distinction between contested and uncontested possession, deducts for Clangers etc etc. So it is a more valid assessment of the two 'games'.

Also, the points table above reflects winners as well (not necessarily by margin order)

RFC has purportedly the 2nd most valuable list based on Champions Data used in Supercoach????????? Now that should get some arguements started ;D

Is this not just another way of saying our list is overrated and paid on potential/talent rather than results? ;D

I'm a big believer in the salary cap, but the minimum TPP's side of it sucks.

As far as a lot of Richmond players selected, I'd be willing to bet that is more due to a few players being chosen a lot like Newman, Johnson, Bowden, Tuck, Richo and Delidio (since last year) being great dream team earners and a few promising potential bargains (ala Raines)...you know the players like Higgins that everyone has in their side because there is a lot of hype about there form coming into a season and there low cost.

I'd be interested to see what teams had the most amount of players picked (in terms of the most variety/range of players in a side picked).

You could easily do that by going to the Stats page (and I mean you ;D). But it won't tell you much because I'll bet every player is used in some form or other - especially with the random pick mode now available.

As I said, raw Dreamteam data on sheer possessions and scores would be largely meaningless....but Supercoach is a bit more balanced and informative.
