Much as I dislike the Bummers I wanted them to win last night.    Oh well here's to Freo losing a few in the weeks to come.

This year I'm more confident about our abilities to win games rather than hoping other teams lose to lesser teams.

Essendon, I could spend all day telling you why it is so great to see them flail like a freshly caught toadfish ...all be it for just one season.

The main reason I love seeing them down there is that I went to a primary school where the PE teacher was an essendon supporter and therefore all the impressionable kids ended up the same. Every year when we got to dress up in our footy gear (generally the closest friday before the GF) I had to endure the constant bagging about supporting such a *smile* club. I just wish it happened about 15 years ago so that I could give it back to them.
