If you want to beat the Demons, ask the AFL to transfer the game to a saturday or sunday arvo game, because
the RFC's history in big Friday nite games with national coverage, are pitiful capitulations that set the club back big time!!!
Don't think we will get a repeat of the Bulldogs game earlier in the season.

Here comes a 100pt flogging courtesy of the PRE kiss of death. :cutelaugh
Okay I tip the Demons by plenty.

Gurgkle (sic) all you like nitro, but I rate Rivers as Melbourne's most important player.

A number of hoodoos have been broken this year. actually I wonder what the highest number of hoodoo breaks in any given year is, we must be clos to the record. Let Friday night national coverage be the next hoodoo to break.

Should be an absolute belter of a match!!

Should be just that, but past history may still bite us on the bum. For the life of me I can't throw off the negative feelings which have bugged all of us for years now!! Quite a few scribes have been giving out positive vibes on the Tigers and in itself is a worry.

Even if we do get beaten,we just want to see 4 competitive quarters of footy!!

Sorry mate, wasnt meant to be an aside at rivers, just the clown who made the original comment......
Rivers is too good a player to try and keep an opposition player like Richo negative........cheers!

Melbourne has a more developed list than Richmond and more mature talent.  The key to last year's game was Melbourne's pressure on the Tiger's ball carrier causing disposal errors and turnovers.

The same formula SHOULD apply on Friday night.  IF MFC sustains its committed approach to tackles and spoils and puts pressure on the less experienced Tigers causing turnovers and then MFC uses the ball correctly on the turnover and supports its players with 1% (against a side that is not renowned for pressuring the opposition) then MFC should win.

If either of these are off for MFC: commitment to work hard and skill when in possession, and Richmond are on, then the Tigers will win.
