How tough is Hyde?

I just love watching the way Chris Hyde goes about playing his footy. He gets smashed around week after week, but gets the job done with a never say die attitude.I wouldn't say he is underated, but he would be one player that would go under the radar for oppsition teams. He's what every club want's,a hard working, non flashy,no nonsense sort of player.Let's hope he stay's fit & keeps giving us a hard & committed effort every week.

Agree Dave and the bonus is Chris is only 23. He's not often mentioned when people talk of kids of the future but I reckon he'll be a very important player for a long time.

To play like he does after his horrific head injury is sheer courage.

Yep - I'm a big wrap for the lad. Good run - just needs to improve decision making a tad and he'll be a hard tough running midfielder up there with the best.

. Unfortunately for Chris i think he is just a pretty average footballer who is not going to win us a flag. He isnt quick and his skills - although have improved, are still questionable ...... I would think he will be one in the next two years to be looking for a home out in the EFL or somewhere....BUT good onya Chrissy for making the most of limited ability!!!

i think u have no idea what u r talking about, he is quicker than he appears, u saw that on the weekend! and his skills are pretty damn good, he at least hits tagets 90% of teh time. not sure what yr problem is with hyde but he will play his career out at richmond and will be a key part to our success

He is making the most of his ability and will be an important player for us. I reckon he'll play 150 - 180 games for us as he is hard and fast with adequate skills. A true foot soldier.

He's a good ordinary footballer as JD would say.

thought i should respond on this thread following his game on friday - last week i said he still needs to work on his right side - why bother when you play like that! - great game - thought he was BOG :clap
