How will everyone be spending GF day

Love Grand Final Day no matter who is playing but I can't wait for us to be there again.

Making a pretty big assumption there Tooheys.

I'll be going.

Catching up with kids, kids' partners and grandkids at a BBQ in Briagolong. They've promised me all the eating, introducing and talking will be done before the first bounce so we can go in to watch the serious stuff on TV.

Having a few cold drinks at Fannie Bay Yacht Club while watching junior Rioli take on Stokes and the boy from Bachelor (ie Ottens)

All I wish is that the Tigers were there today! When will my hope become a reality? :shakehead

BTW, I'm sick and tired of seeing the 'poos and wees' colours everywhere, would love to see (and add to) the 'yellow and black' colours in their stead.

Go Cats! :-X

Unlucky enough to be a Geelong resident - the last week (make that the last year and a half) not much fun! Good luck to their true supporters who have been there through thick and thin - but have had enough of the endless sea of Geelong bandwagon jumpers to last three lifetimes. Come 2.30 will be off on my bike for a three hour ride. Next year at the G watching the Tiges I hope!

Sitting outside Digglers caravan with a 6" black and white screen on the folding table drinking Fosters. (Here's a tip I think he's English.)

Cricket presentation night tonight, combined with cocktail party, means I'll wake up a little rusty. 30km bike ride in the morning to my mate's place should clear the cobwebs away and earn me a few refreshing ones in this heat.

We have an AV company coming in tonight to my mate's to set up a $10,000 projector onto a massive whiteboard and surround sound under his elevated house. Footy food - pies, hot dogs and chiko rolls will be served through the arvo.

We play a ridiculous drinking game where you get a player stuck on your chest and must skol all sorts of things if your player commits sins such as - kicking a goal, having his opponent (as per AFL website teams) kick a goal, giving away a 50m, getting carried off, etc, etc. It ends up ugly but funny. The 30m inground pool will get the workout at halftime and the end of the game. Yep - should be a ripping day!

Which cricket team you play for Hopper ?

Got back from a 3 hr ride through and around the quietest Geelong streets I have ever seen - will be awash with "sorrows-drowners" throughout the rest of the evening and early hrs of Sunday.

St Andrew's market this morning.

Burning off this arvo.

Checked scores to see if I'd won my $24 to have the bags ahead at each change . :'(

Waste of a tenner that was. Thanks bags.

Otherwise, couldn't give a pair of fetid dingo's kidneys about this game.

Make it worthwhile next year Tiges!!!!!!!!!!!!

woke up this morning with possible one of the worst hang overs ever!

My head hurts too, 7. The drinking game was a roaring success - except I had Guerra and he decided to rush about 9 points in the last quarter (to the point where he was being roared at and called Joel Bowden by the group).

Apropos of this I await Sheahan's criticism of Guerra and Hawthorn with bated breath.

He will say it was masterful play because of the importance of the day.....he would have bagged any Richmond player for doingt he same thing though if we were in a GF.

Sheahan lacks credibility and is a cynical commentator when it comes ot our great club
