how will we improve? no improvements from trade so will have to come from within. last year wallace got a lot out *smile* chaffy hall pettifer even hilton. not saying they are good but they did improve under him.
this year, especially with another wallace preseason under them the kids should be the beneficiary.
*brown on field all year will improve us
*tambling injury free and a year older mite provide sum spark.
*the sarge,got a feeling he mite stand up this year.( give him 1st crack chb)
*rodan? hoping he will thrive under wallace. a la libba.
*raines,jackson,gilmour,roach(its time 4 them 2 nail down a spot)
*chaff and tivvers 2 coburg(just 2 be used as backup til their contracts up)
*now we know simmonds best suited in the ruck(he wos wasted at chf)
*hartigan great first yr, ordinary 2nd. got speed its time to improve the foot skills.
*thursfield and foley will be better.
in saying all this its a bit of horror draw cold be 0-4 early but finish wif 6 melb games.so will be an interesting year.
have watched the trade period last few years always noted adelaide,west coast bris didn't compete much so we shouldn't feel to agrieved.
tho i do like the hawthorne model. will be stockpiling a lot of kids.maybe next year in the supposed super draft we trade our surplus players 4 picks or improved picks.
