PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I firstly want to say that I was really pleased with the effort of the boys on Friday night. They didn't win but at least they had a crack. A far better effort.
But, without wanting to be overtly negative here, I would like those sunnysiders, and the realists, to tell me how it is that we won't finish bottom this year. We are 0-2 and have to go to Perth to play the Weagles in a game that is nigh on unwinnable and then have to back it up a week later with a trip up to Brisbane. Normally I might give us a chance against Brisbane but not after just having travelled home from Perth. If we lose these two games we will be 0-4 and chances are from there we will struggle to lift ourselves too much up the ladder, especially when you have a team that thrives on confidence and falls apart when the chips are down. Not to mention our percentage is 20 points worse than anyone else in the league.

So, help me, how can we do it or do we just look forward to a bumper crop of draft picks?
