Chris Hyde ???????????????
For a sec there i thought it was April fools day.

I'd be staggered if this hack got a gig.

I think Hyde fits into the group that got picked. Look at some of the names.

Said he did nothing fitness wise for two weeks after the season started but had gotten back into it since then and now feels almost at full fitness. "it doesn't take much to get fully fit again".

Aaaah. to be 20 again........

Almost agged on my latte, if Hyde went to Ireland it would showcase how nonsensical this exercise was.

Patriotism is great in these games, as I experienced when watching it Ireland. Yes, it isn't AFL but it isn't Gaelic either. For both sports it is a great way to display the quality of sportsmen in both codes. Players who commit show that they have a sense of passion for their country, good on 'em. If a player like Voss says he is wishing to possibly play for Australia as a swansong, he must pay it some sort of respect, even if you don't.
The argument you may present is that he is happy to play once he is finished, fair enough, but he still rates it high enough to want to play.

The game is a hybrid game, where run and carry players excel, hence why Hyde's name may have been mentioned. In AFL, I know Hyde is not a top liner but what he does do is, run and carry. Whether he gets picked or not I couldn't give a crap. But to speak of nonsensical, shows your limited understanding of alot of things, almost as nonsensical as your constant attempts to align yourself with the claw, who shows you no acknowledgement.
