Agreed. Moved to the border earlier this year, still trying to get a feel of which team I should support. This might tip the scales for me...

I know a few people from the Tigers up there, Nico - a good bunch of blokes and you'll definitely see a few victories in 2009.

A guy I do business with plays for Stabington Panthers, I mean Lavington Panthers.....but I think the lure of the yellow and black is too great. How do your mates rate Paul Spargo as a coach?

Will do, always liked Chris...was proven not to be AFL standard, but will think he will dominate in the O&M.

Get on Albury for Premiers of the OMFL next year. Their off season recruiting has been nothing short of extraordinary. It must be a town full of cash at the moment because their wage bill must be massive.

Signed up the bnf winner from keysborough (also came 2nd in the league).. will do good things!

I don't know a lot about Shaun Daly but apparently he goes pretty well. Certainly gonna be tough getting a gig in the Albury midfield.

"He was also an assistant coach at Richmond in 2003-04 and in his playing days Spargo kicked 109 goals in 81 games for North Melbourne between 1985 and 1992. The centreman also played nine games for the Brisbane Bears in 1993."

Sorry Nico - missed your question.

They reckon he's great. They were pretty young in his first stint and were actually assistant coaches with him in his second stint there a few years back. He's like a magnet for good players. I've heard him speak at their games a couple of times and while understated, he can get his message across when he needs to. Massively respected around Albury simply due to the results he's produced.

Hyde flying with the Albury Tigers. Been in their best pretty much every week. Also kicking goals.

Albury sit undefeated on top.
