Hyde = Super Dud.

Goodes is there best player, Hyde is "supposed" to be our tagger, isnt that who he's meant to play on?

guess Terry should have given him the job on someone like McVeigh, then he might of had a chance

Agree Irockz (in your head), matching Hyde on Goodes was never going to work, so if there is no good match-up for Hyde (and that means on one of the two best play-makers in the side), then he shouldn't be playing. He has had a couple of scalps this year on arguably not 1st string players. We have 38 players on our list, let's use it to play the best-matchups on the day.

No, not when he gives away so much height. He shouldn't have played because there obviously wasn't a viable match up for him. Its mainly Wallaces fault for the poor match up.

Yep, you're in a bit of trouble when you are known as a specialist tagger on opposition second-stringers.

Bit hard on him. The job he did on Schammer was that good that he lost all confidence was dropped from a top quality Fremantle side this week.

I had to bring Harry back to earth after his (good) Foley call.

There was a massive emphasis on the word "little" in the title of that thread Red ;D. Hyde was playing some good football when Wallace first arrived and it all went downhill after that head collision. I've always stated that where Hyde struggles is with his size, pace and strength. He still has the body of a 15 year old and is one of the slowest players going around. Should have been delisted a year or 2 ago.

Schammer played. Had probably his best game for the season. Has been pretty average all season though, I should know I have him in my CourierTeam.

No doubt Hyde is not up to the task of curbing a 6'5'' Brownlow medalist but that Wallace is deluded into thinking he was and then refusing to change the matchup despite Hyde and Richmond getting absolutely smashed, is of far bigger concern going forward than whether Hyde is a dud or not.

Who knows. Maybe before the game Wallace gave Hyde an ultimatum to see what he's made of. There is no other logical explanation. At 70+ points down at half time, was there any point at that stage taking him off Goodes? I think Hyde may have sealed his departure ticket.

Bowden made it a long time ago and Hyde should never have played on Goodes

Well that was worth traveling up for.

No, Chris didn't have a game worth buying on DVD did he?

Was one of the more stupid match-ups I've seen.

Was not a great game, but it was a very dumb match up, although he was not alone, there were plenty of other passengers playing not only Hyde, most of the team had big heads and believed their press over the last few weeks, just goes to show that if you are not switched on each week you will be in trouble.
