I am a little worried about Hardwick..

something about you rings a bell. i have a feeling this be the only true one, correct?

Doubt it. Tim Livingstone went on to become the Richmond head of development. Not sure if he is still there or not.

no no. my point being is that i'm sure some PREnder with 'tim' in his username was actually a former player. i could be completely wrong of course as i'm the first to admit that my memory isn't the best.

he's still there , don't know if it's the same role though. Always see him sitting on the bench

Ok, Tim Gepp. 57 games 1983-85.

Trying to listen to his press conference on roar vision today. Why is the volume on the videos uploaded on the site set at mumble volume?? It's impossible to hear the reporters questions and hard enough to listen to the answers aswell.

Wasn't sure which thread to put this in, but just had to rant, as the volume on all the press conference videos are just frustrating to listen to.

Whoever uploads these, increase the volume and fix it please!!

The other thing i noticed in the replay that I had forgotten was that they kicked late goals in every quarter and that's coach killer stuff.

The players had an eye on the siren in those last few plays no doubt. A few guys (some of our best) took the foot off the pedal and we were punished.
I'm sure Dimma will have let them know in no uncertain terms that they've got to play right until the bell because those lapses were the difference last weekend.
It was a wakeup call that you cannot take anything for granted in this comp and some arses will have been kicked for that loss.
Let's see how they respond to that this week.

When we look back on this season I got a bad feeling the loss to freo will be the one which we regret the most.

I know what you mean but in a twisted way I hope that's the game we regret the most. We'll be regretting that loss anyway. I hope we don't end up regretting a loss to GWS or GC more! Or a second loss to Carlton. I'd hate to finish 9th behind Carlton.

i'm surprised this thread hasn't been bumped since june considering our terrible second half of the season. very happy we're getting choco williams.

Another thread on Damien
Lets give the guy peace until we see what he drafts and a few games into next season
let the guy sleep at night people
Weve discussed him enough
ALL WE NEED TO SEE WHAT HE DOES OVER THE SPRING SUMMER AND AUTUMN TO IMPROVE US
at this stage let him rest otherwise we could be flogging a live horse
which maybe unwarranted
i know were all bored at this stage of the year but we should be used to it by now
lets open this thread sometime next year if it is called for
dimma has a family and i wouldnt want him to stress out at this time of the year
Let him have a few weeks of quality time with his kids
You never know a bit of relaxation and reminiscing could freshen him up tactically for next year :clap

The fact that threads like this didn't spring up in spite of the W-L results shows that the supporters have a mature, intelligent, and nuanced perspective on the season.

I would think Hardwick is a smart man, his own man and would not read or even believe the dribble that comes from the mouths of those supporters whose experience may only extend to their barstools and eskys.
He is the coach!
He is in part responsible for the development we have seen over the past few years, he has seen the team become more skilled and stable. ALong with the leadership of Gale we now see a defined path that everyone is staying on.
I am glad he is our coach and its great to see our club developing and find the negative dribble highly amusing!

Thank God there are true supporters like you still around otherwise we would be changing our coaches every season
