I secretly hope we lose against the Dee's next week. We really need to hit rock bottom for both the players & the coaching staff to actually see and feel what we do as supporters. Huge changes are now necessary before it gets too late in the year to resurrect anything. If we win, then they get breathing space for another fortnight or so. But then it’s too late.
I want Richmond to be 0 wins after 4 games. Then I want a caretaker coach, in turn this will mystically make the players get pride. Then we will begin to win the unwinnable games, and the media will then say why did it take a coach to be sacked for our players to show this spirit. Remember the Geish? 5 wins in a row when he came in towards the end of the season one year.
By the way if Colin Sylvia gets a week and misses out next week, we should also even up the ledger by dropping Deludio. I don’t want any chance to bully up on the Dees.
Seriously, If we beat the Dee’s next week, its gonna feel like nothing to me. An expected win. But if we lose, and Eddie Maguires words become truth, we then have new direction, and hope!
